Ceciley & Josh |Maui Engagement Photographer

“I had such a great experience working with Megan! I live in California and was looking to take engagement photos in Maui and I had a pretty clear idea of what I was looking for. After researching all the different options for photographers I went with Megan because she was so willing to work with what ever I wanted to do. She was the only photographer That was willing to go to 3 locations to meet my vision. It was clear through our email conversations that she wanted to accommodate everything I was picturing while also making me feel super comfortable. The day of our engagement shoot Megan made us feel like we had all been friends forever even though we just met that day. Then I was even more excited when I received my pictures and loved them so much that i’m considering flying Megan out to do my wedding! She is super easy going and a blast to work with! i would highly recommend her.”

Simply magical

Honolua Forest

Thank you for taking a peek at Ceciley and Josh’s Maui engagement session! Maui is an incredibly beautiful island with numerous locations that are perfect for engagement sessions. With so many to choose from we decided to not limit ourselves to just 1 spot. Instead we took advantage of our 2 hours together to spend some time at 3 locations. Our first stop was Honolua Forest. This spot can be a rather tricky location because of it’s heavy canopy but if timed right, it is simply magical. Photographed a couple hours before sunset ensured we would have enough light beaming through the canopy.

Their love is so sweet

Ceciley found the perfect dress with pockets!

Our second stop was Ironwoods which is a quick 8 minute drive from Honolua Forest. One of the most epic and stunning locations on the island. With it’s drastic, sharp lava cliffs and pounding waves below, it’s simply a dream.

A must get shot

Baby Beach

We chose Baby Beach in Lahaina as our final stop. With it’s calm waters and direct west facing shores, we caught a gorgeous Maui sunset. Perfectly soft as it’s light pours over the island of Lana’i.

The only type of photo bomb I’ll welcome!
