Your Hawaii Wedding

What is a Hawaii Wedding?

Weddings are unlike elopements in that they are the full day affair. You've chosen a private wedding venue, or beach and have invited your most loved family and friends. Weddings typically include full day photography coverage. This means I'll be there to capture you getting ready thru the reception. You'll likely have those little details like an invitation suite, a dj or musician, a catering team, a coordinator, a bar team, florists, floral arch etc. I've photographed large weddings of 150+ guests in attendance AND intimate weddings of 20 or so guests. Weddings can vary in size but they are always a days worth of celebrating with your closest family and friends.

Where Do Weddings Take Place?

Hawaii has many wedding venues to choose from. We have private estate wedding venues, resort venues, ranch or plantation home settings as well. You may also opt for a wedding that takes place at a VRBO or AirBnB.

How Many Hours of Photo Do I need?

All of my wedding photography packages are based on the amount of hours that you need in order to cover the things you want photographed. My wedding packages range from 4-9 hours. Some things you need to consider to help you get a feel of how many hours you need:

1) Do you want getting ready coverage?

2) First look?

3) Sunset portraits?

4) Family Photos?

5) Will there be lots of dancing during your reception?

There are many factors to consider and I WILL HELP YOU figure it all out. I've photographed so many weddings that I know how the day pans out.

What is A Second Shooter?

Some of my wedding packages include a free second shooter. A second shooter is an additional photographer that I choose to assist me in capturing more moments, more angles and to delegate parts of the day. For example, when I have a second shooter with me, I will delegate them to complete the getting ready moments for the groom as I am simultaneously photographing the bride. Second shooters are valuable in getting alternative angles of the same moment. I cannot possibly be everywhere at the same time, so the second shooter becomes my second pair of eyes.

How Many Images Will We Get?

I average roughly 50-70 images per hour of photography coverage. All edited by ME ( I do not send your images off to be edited by a team located somewhere else in the world...yes I could and save me tons of time, but I love editing and it's immensely important to me)

Can We Request the RAW Images?

Nope. Most people don't understand what a RAW image is. It cannot be opened by just any software, it can only be opened by Lightroom, Photoshop or similar professional grade software. It is simply a file that contain data or pixels of information. It requires editing to achieve the proper look. .

What Things Do We Need To Get Married?

To get married in Hawaii you need:

1) Apply for a marriage license in Hawaii

2) Find an officiant

3) Obtain your marriage license from a license agent

4) Hire ME! As well as other vendors like a planner, caterer, music, florists, bar team etc.

When Will We Get The Photos?

My turnaround time is 4-8 weeks from your date. Since I have multiple weddings in my queue at any given time, I edit them in order.
