“Megan is the best! I loved everyone of my pictures, she made me feel so comfortable, she engages with you to get the candid pictures that are so much to be desired! She was accommodating, very responsive when I would reach out to her with questions or concerns. I mean she photographed my wedding during hurricane lane! all my vendors loved her. She also edited and sent out our pictures while we were still on our honeymoon!! Definitely book her, you will not regret it! (We also did a after wedding shoot with her”Haily
Haily and Connor’s journey to their destination maui wedding started a few years earlier. They met through friends and what began as Connor’s Maui vacation turned into a more permanent move when he laid eyes on Haily. The feeling was mutual and together they’ve built a beautiful life here in Hawaii. Their celebration was a destination wedding for many of their family who flew from the mainland. There is something to say about weddings that are filled with the people closest to the couple. To me, the love and connection between everyone can be felt. It’s family and family is what makes a beautiful wedding one to remember.
As every wedding professional knows, weather has a huge impact on weddings and this day was no exception. Remember hurricane Lane, that turned into a tropical storm? Well, on this very day it was closest to the island of Maui. Their venue had to be changed from an outdoor to an indoor locale. Rain or shine, hurricane or not, nothing stood in the way of their love.
During their sunset portrait session the clouds were encroaching slowly towards us. Creating a darkened, blue sky…very dramatic. In the distance, the outer bands of Tropical Storm Lane can be seen. The waves crashed on the shore, loud and forceful. A night that i’ll never forget.
The day was perfect.
Congratulations to Haily and Connor! I am so excited to see the life you two build together here in paradise.
