An Olowalu Plantation House wedding for Christine and James was the best way to start 2019. They had planned their destination Hawaii wedding nearly 1 year ago with me. We met for their Ironwoods engagement session and clicked right away. As two cool people from the California Bay Area, they’re a bit silly, always up for a good laugh especially when there’s a weird girl with a camera all up in their business! A split second glance into eachothers eyes, a soft smirk or the slightest of gestures, they revealed to me their love for oneanother. It’s not easy being able to spot these little things, let alone photograph them, but with a bit of mutual connection and openness to my presence, I think we captured a day that truly celebrates Christine and James. They enabled me to capture real, genuine moments and a few tears! These images are truly a reflection of them both and their love for everyone present. I thank you both and to your whole family who made me feel a part of the celebrations!
