A Mid Century Estate Designed by Vladimir Ossipoff

This photoshoot takes place high in the hills of Mount Tantalus, Oahu, where The Liljestrand House sits comfortably overlooking downtown Honolulu and Diamond Head. Designed by architect Vladimir Ossipoff, this home is a mid-twentieth century modern architectural gem. It was a dream of mine to shoot here because I’m a big time architecture nerd. I will jump at any opportunity to walk thru homes designed with intent and vision. Getting to actually photograph here, was icing on the cake. With the collaboration of everyone listed here, this is likely some of my strongest work to date and I’m so excited. Purposefully, I adjusted my editing style ever so much towards a more vintage feel to add cohesion with the history of the building. As always, the mood and emotion of the work directs my final edits.
