I’ve never done professional photos before; what if I appear awkward? One thing we do with every client is to share information ahead so that you arrive on shoot day knowing what to expect.
You’re at a milestone moment in your life, and you’ll never have it back. We understand completely and will work with you to document the occasion in pictures you’ll cherish for a lifetime.
There are several photographers in Honolulu to choose from – who is the best for me? Our advice is always to call several and have an initial conversation. Then, follow your heart about what’s best.
You want images that feel and look like you. We understand and take the time to get to know you so that you come through in the images personally and authentically. We’ll show your best self.

A majority of my clients aren’t professional models or Instagram influencers. I work with real, down-to-earth people who want a special time or moment in their lives documented. Their love for each other is what brings them to me. I’ve worked with countless couples, families, and individuals. My goal is always to create a relaxed, enjoyable vibe on every shoot that comes through in the pictures.

How many hours of photography do we need?
90% of my maternity clients book a 1 hour session with me and 1 location, 1 outfit. This is ample time to capture 200+ images.
Frequently Asked Questions
What's included in your packages?
All of my packages include high-resolution digital files, fully edited images, an online gallery, print rights, and my guidance throughout the planning process and the shoot day.
What Does Editing Mean in Photography?
Editing is a photo term that describes the standard level of photo manipulations. It means I'll make your photos look amazing. This includes things like exposure, contrast, color and composition manipulations.
Do You Offer Retouching Service for Selected Images?
Retouching is another photography term covering intensive isolated manipulations such as body slimming, blemish removal, fly away hair removal, or facial reconstruction. It is the highest level of photo manipulation, and I can do it on a case-by-case basis, with an added fee of $35 per photo.
When will we see the photos?
My turnaround time for shorter shots such as elopements is 1-2 weeks. Longer full-day projects will take 3-4 weeks. The duration of the shoot affects the number of images; longer shoots take more time to edit.
Can We Add Special Services Like Drone Photography?
Yes! I own a DJI Mavic Pro drone. Let me know when you email us that you might be interested in a drone upgrade. I try to offer unique and advanced services like drones in the spirit of producing a wider range of interesting, high-quality images.
How Do We Book You for a Shoot?
Confirming a booking (reserving my services on your selected date) requires a signed contract and payment in full to reserve your date. Payment plans are available.
Can You Help Me with Hair and Make-Up Service?
Do You Travel for Shoots if Requested?
Yes, we can help arrange those services at an additional fee based on the stylists you select. The pricing varies by project (the number of people in your short who need services) and the artist.
Yes, I drive all over Oahu at no additional cost! If you are inquiring about a maternity session on Kauai, Maui or Big Island, a travel fee will be added.
