Setting The Scene
An Oahu LGBTQ downtown Honolulu wedding inspiration for the modern couple that wants a unique Hawaiian celebration of love. Hawaii doesn’t necessarily conjure up the image of urban or modern. But this is far from the truth when it comes to Honolulu and our thriving urban life. I personally love our downtown arts scene with its beautiful graffiti art, numerous art galleries, cafes and delicious eateries. Not to mention, our fun bars and restaurants that really come to life at night. For this same sex wedding inspiration we wanted to showcase Honolulu’s beautiful cityscape and urban vibes. With the right team, you can create a unique Hawaiian urban wedding.
The Theme
In this photoshoot, I worked alongside the very talented Zabrina of The Gay Agenda. She wanted to create a colorful and bold shoot. And I was thrilled about this! I jumped at this chance to create something unique because I love bold, bright color. I will never be one to succumb to the trend of “moody” weddings. Weddings are a joyous occasion, right? So, make the images reflect this joy! Save the dark and moody for melancholy commercials. lol.
