Willa and Luke’s Yosemite Wedding

Does the forest call you? It sure does call to me which is why I always jump at the chance of photographing a wedding set amongst the woods. For Willa and Luke this meant a gorgeous, intimate wedding in Yosemite National Park among the Sequoia, Pine and Cypress trees. The scent of the trees and earth flowing with the crisp air set a beautiful mood. They had asked me to document their day from start to finish, then followed with a day after session frolicking in the valley. For both Willa and Luke, their family meant everything and wanted to create as many memories of this day with them as possible. This meant being there, present, and focused on nothing else but their guests. That’s a special and rare thing in this industry. The party and all the beautiful details came second to their families. LOVE. Now, this does not mean that they sacrificed style, on the contrary! It simply meant that it was not the reason behind their celebration. As it should be.
