Add Variety to Your Maternity Session

Haemi chose two locations on the island of Oahu for her maternity session. Check out her first spot which was a sunrise beach location! After we completed her sunrise portion, we drove 30 minutes away for her lush tropical garden photos. To be more specific we drove from Halona Cove on the east shore to Haiku Garden in Kaneohe. Haemi wanted a variety of images, and the best way to accomplish this is through multiple locations. A lush garden is a great contrast to a blue ocean scene.

Haiku Garden

Haiku Garden is a public garden that is free and open to everyone. Furthermore, photoshoots here are welcomed at no additional charge. Unlike weddings, where there is a venue fee. Haiku Garden is ideal for simple photoshoots for individuals, couples or small family photos. There are many pros to this location, the first being ample, safe parking! The second and third reasons are: beauty and convenience. Look at these photos and you’ll see for yourself how beautiful this garden is. Additionally, this garden is not a huge garden, it is tiny but filled with beautiful corners. You would never guess that this is a “small” garden by the vast look and feel of these images. Because of it’s intimate size I have found that it’s perfect for maternity sessions as I don’t want to make my client to walk miles while in her 3rd trimester. No, I want to make your maternity photo session easy and fun, no intense faraway locations here. The best part, after your photo shoot you’ll be close to so many delicious places to eat! That’s what I call convenience.
