The final step is to decide whether or not you will tell your girlfriend or boyfriend that you have planned a photoshoot. Many of my clients decide to let their significant other know that they’ve booked a “photo shoot” but they do not tell them that they will propose. Letting your significant other know that they will be having their photo taken will allow them to plan for it. They will be able to pick a beautiful outfit and get their hair and makeup done. Once the photo shoot has begun I will treat it as any other photo shoot and keep their intention a total secret until he decides to pop the question. Oftentimes, I will tell my client to give me a visual clue when they are about to get down on one knee, this ensures that I am ready with my camera for that moment.
